Parts are random

Here I am again holding good to my word of updating the site everyday with more news on our latest run of hardgoods. Today is all the parts we have coming in, check out the new colors:

Mid Kits:
Available in either 19mm or 22mm, fits all mid BB frames.

Sprockets:
Yeah, these things are hot. Made from 7075 Aluminum, 6mm thick and tuff as hell. Avaiable in 25t, 28t and 30t.

Hubguards:
O.G 2 pc design, Aluminium piece keeps everything nice and light, while the heat treated steel section keeps it all tight against the dropout.

Pegs:
Yeah we made some pegs, Neil came up with the idea of making some real nice light weight pegs and here they are, 207 grams.

Double butted spokes:
We have these coming back in stock. The idea is simple, by using a double butted spoke the wheel can take side ways impact better, the spoke has more "give" it in than a plain gauge spoke. Morgan has been running them for a while and I think that speaks for itself. Also they are a tad lighter than regular spokes.

Jonathan Zizzo hooked us up with these shots of Morgan including the picture in the middle of this page, be scared, MoMo ain't rocking brakes........

Brandon is still down and out, he has a sugery scheduled for April, good luck bro.

Joe is getting ready for the 2nd filming trip for our new DVD, waiting for the team to descend on the ATX. He says he ain't left the house in weeks as he has so much work going on, this is not what this photo suggests. Get to work!

Nocturnal.

Here is the Nocturnal, Brandon Hoerres' signature frame, we dropped the press release on this a few weeks ago but here is the production version. Two hot colors on this bad boy, Translucent Purple and Translucent Black. The frame features a tear dropped down tube, yeah we know it looks different, so why? Well Brandon dents the hell out of frames, especially down tubes and we wanted to try come up with something to combat that, after talking with our frame builder and doing some tests we came up with the idea of using a tear dropped tube. Also as the tube has a larger surface area, this gives us more to weld, giving a really stiff BB junction! And instead of using tubing for the seat and chain stay braces we have used heat treated plates. Good eh?

Here are the specs:

Material: 4130 Sanko chromoly, double butted toptube and down tear dropped downtube.
Top Tube: 20.75", 21"
Chain stay: 13.75" slammed
Head Tube: 75
Seat Tube: 69 degree
BB Style: Mid
BB Height: 11.5"
Dropouts: heat treated 5mm
Weight: 5.3 lbs

Chain stay: 13.75" slammed

MutinyxShadow

Defgrip have an excluisve look at the MutinyxShadow kit that is going to drop March 15th, including an interview with Joe and a new HD video he put together.

Nikki sent in this cool story and some pics from what he got up to last weekend.

"So I get a phone call off beadows..."you wanna ride a barn?"... next thing I know im 2 hours away and I'm at a barn with a bunch of people that I have'nt seen in so long, most people from the Undertone trip, Jake, Bing ,Will Herman, Joe Bailey and others, there were also people I haven't met before which was awesome, good to meet new people. So in this barn they had a simple quarter to vert wall set-up and you could make a hip from the quarter, it was so good being with friends in one of the best atmospheres! Will was shredding and Joe was going high---. real big thanks to Si for letting me ride and feeding me big style the next day and a special thanks to George Marshall for taking some cool pics" -Niki

we were dead before the ship even sank...........

We have been getting a lot of e-mails about the Holdfast/Burlish frame.Well here it is. Josh and I thought it would be cool to make a limited run of frames, 60 only ! Some custom graphics by Josh and some changes to the O.G Burlish. For a start Mr Bedford doesn't run brakes, so no brake lugs, we also beefed up the chainstays to be a 22mm diameter and used grind guards too to help protect the stays on pedal grind stuff. All the graphics on this are hand drawn ! I went up to Sheffield a few months ago and was expecting to get a disc with all the images on, no,no, no I was handed 3 pieces of paper with Joshs art work on. This is only available in one color Blue and 2 toptube sizes 20.6 and21. Out March.

N-N-N-N-N-N-N-New Bikes.

I mentioned a change in the team last week, we are proud to announce Ryan Smith has moved up to the pro team ! We are so stoked on this, I can remember seeing Ryan ride a long time ago at the Ramp Ranch skate park in George town as a wee lad and he ripped then, so cool we can have this booster as part of the Mutiny pro team. His page is in the works, we are going to have the Mutiny 07 team pages all up next week.

As Promised here are some shots of some of the new frames built up. Roey has put together a production version of the MutinyxShadow Collaboration that will be out in shops March, infact all of the new items we have been talking about will be. Ryan has been wanting a brakeless Sinister for the longest time, so he built this dope Translucent Black one up. Both theses boys are riding samples of our new handle bar, the Glam bar. Hopefully these will be out in the summer. I have built up one of the new Nocturnal frames, translucent purple with as many purple parts as I can find. On all our latest frames we have changed the brake lugs, rather than welding them on at 90 degrees to the seat stays we have angled them slightly at 83 degrees, now the brake line runs straight as fook. We also have used new type of cable guides and place one nearer the headtube so there is no need to use a cable tie. More bike checks from Joe and Josh next week..........

Ever wonder what neil harrington has been up to ? Here ya go, straight from our tallest rider, " Kickboxing is going dope, we had two guys from our gym fight in the Renegade fighting series which is like a local cage fighting league. there were guys from gyms all around texas. was dope. Victor Garza from our gym "Urban Jungle Self Defense" fought first and lost in decision after three rounds. The next guy is named laurence and he lost due to submission in the last round, supposedly he had a fractured rib before the fight and it was broken by the end. Dirtwood has a couple new ramps I've been riding there a few days a week. The owner Shawn's dog apparently bit some psycho lady's face after she enticed the dog, who NEVER displays any aggresive behavior. Later some male acquaintance of hers threatened Shauns life or something. welcome to houston....fuck. I just turned 25 on the 25 january and i registered for graduation from college. stoked. bluelinebikes.com is that shop that i've been working at in houston which is owned by two brothers who are young and real cool. we carry bmx shit and can order whatever so anyone can give us a hollar for bike shit, completes, or whatever. tune ups...whatevs."

New Dig came out, Joe has a pretty cool pic in there and Alpha Justice has a whole page devoted to them, represent !

Enjoi that weekend.

Debaser ................

YoYoYo, Wow it really has been like Christmas round here for the last few days, we got all the new stuff in for the team so we have been shipping stuff to them, people have been showing up for there new rides and we are as busy as normal. We are just getting all the images ready for the site but here are 2 sneak peaks for you. The bars on the MutinyxShadow Callob are samples of Roeys new Signature bar, the Glam bar. These 8 1/8" tall and feel dope, as Roey would say "some reeeeet bars". I know you all want to see the new stuff and as soon as it is ready I will have it on here.

Spanish bro Rubio has a website up, check it out.

More of you have sent in your Mutiny's, 2 from Canada this time around. Cam from Edmonton, Alberta is doing it up on his burlish and Clayton from Nanaimo, BC is cruising on his Captain.

I have been trying to decide what to take with me when I move to America next week, I thought I would start with my CD's found these gems.
