Looking for a 'nicer' shoe to take out-on-the-town and impress the lady friends in? Or just a pair to be chillin' in? We think we've found them - The Etnies Forsvar in Black/Denim.

Clean and simple lines make this a more traditional cut shoe - no crazy lace loops, velcro, or wild features - just solid construction that looks pretty classy. While there is a little bit of gum sole that shows on the bottom edge, the rest of the footprint is all black. These shoes will look good with any dark washed or black jeans you'd wear riding or out-on-the-town in, making it easier for all you OCDs out there to color-coordinate your apparel!

Upon first wearing, they seem a little stiff to ride in, but like every shoe they need some time to break in. Also, the back story & packaging is worth mentioning. The shoes were designed by Rune Glifberg to highlight the current political crisis going on with Christiana, a 'county-within-a-county" in Denmark that is currently involved in an aggro game of 'Indian-Giver'. Check out the wild back story here.The box features photos shot from his visits to Christiana over the years and definitely stands out package-design-wise.

These shoes won't be for everyone, but for the cleaner more-traditional shoe wearer looking for a nice pair of shoes to play 'dress-up' in, these are perfect.

Neil is working on moving to Austin for the summer thus he had to tear his ramp down. Few beers, final session, start ripping it down and fuck it just burn the thing down. Oooops.


So last month Nike hopped on our bandwagon and used the the Mutiny badge logo, this month Milton Keynes, UK football club are trying to bite us.. Christ. And no there is no legal action taking place.......

Wow, the new Etnies video kills it! Amazing. So we got to the premiere early and had a little party out in the parking lot, goodtimes. came to spain with cobwebs due to bad weather and bad motivational skills on my part also working in a bar makes booze more fun, no in spain is hurting and bent due to not being used to going for walks everyday. Burlish frame (erny hand me down) scenester bars, joe cox hand me down cranks (still bent) and all other parts donated by jon at Seventies . rides like the best bike ive ever had most days, love it. Carlos put a man carrying a cross sticker on the headtube to keep me safe because he thinks im a danger to myself.

picked this little beauty up at the "rastro" market which takes place in valencia every sunday morning at 4am in the shady carpark behind the foot stadium. loads of really sketchy guys sell whatever they managed to steal from wherever they were stealing that week. the guy wanted 40 euros for it i got him down to €30 and its amazing. it has one front brake, one grip a bell and only one of the 10 gears works but its fast and can get you anywhere in valencia in 8 minutes 7 when absolutely hammered and the reason i might quit bmx and take up riding fast round the city drunk full time.

we were partying the other night after moving into a new flat which is nice and cheap and now theres 3 riders me and my girlfriend ro, carlos the spaniard and his girlfriend the boss nara and alessandro and his girlfriend aurora the italians who run and italian site nosoccer.com and a clothing range she-male.it. Its like an episode of international "friends" but its sunny and its cool, the conversation gets a bit confused now and again but we'll make it. look at how carlos is pouring the booze in his nose not his mouth.

Huge congrats to Joe and Tina. Welcome to married life bro. So the whole day was awesome and people came from near and far to celebrate. Joe was seen pre-ceremony with wedding jitters and tried to hop the wall of the venue, luckily he made changed his mind. Too many of these went down and all kinds of moves got thrown on the floor! I seem to have 100's of party shots and some of us made it downtown to party more. Reet..........

While Morgan and Natalie were in town, they asked me to help unload their car I picked up Natalies bike and this thing weighed nothing, she has got the weight right down to 21lbs! Crazy.

Joe got back from the Shadow trip and is now locked away preparing for his wedding this coming weekend. He did have time to find this hot youtube vid before though.
Morgan is another one working on his wedding plans and setting up home, he has been chillin' at his parents in Tyler for the last few days.
Neil is not on the wedding tip right now, but he is moving back to Austin for the summer and going on the next Rock n' Roll tour.
Brandon is making a really good recovery after his Back surgey and is getting ready to go see some really good shows, Against Me, Mastadon, Cursive and Minus the Bear. He has all new parts to build up a pretty Christmas bike.

This is from Ernie "josh bedford tasted his first long island ice tea today. he enjoyed it so much he absolutely lost the plot and spent his weeks food budget of 15pounds on one veggie enchillada. i had to pedal him home on his pub bike he recently found under a bridge. we had 36mafia blasting outta our imaginary sound system on the way home. boy needs to get a grip. luckily mutiny now do a grip.(shameless plug) long island ice teas are bang on"
