Snaggle teeth

So Ryan decided to plant his face into the floor on Thursday, so he is rocking the Snaggle tooth look right now! Hot. Thanks to Devon for the pic. Get well soon buddy.

In brighter news, AZ wonder child Johnny Stevens has been working his Sinister frame around the lush concrete parks. Lear Miller caught it all on camera. Few things to remember when looking at these photos, Jonny naturally rides left foot forward and spins to the right. So this Tabe is oppo footed, oppo air, this Turn Down is oppo foot, oppo air. Now just to show you there is no Mongo magic at play here is the Turn Down his Natural way! Amazing.

More photos from the team this week, so stop back soon.

I saw Johnny had some pictures from the last Local Exposure tour around the net and he really stood out to me, mad style. So I called Johnny, had chat and now he is part of the Bro team. I mailed Johnny his bike out yesterday so more pics to come but in the mean time he is a video and a few pics:

Nikki blog time

Nikki sent me some photos of him roostin' his local. Photos by Beadows.

Boostin'

Whippin'

Tuckin'

As well a story about a local zine he has been involved in, check it out:

You may of seen the web advert but what is 'FLIPPEDBMXZINE'?

Well it all dates back to 2001 when i first met Scott The Punk, we met down at my local park which I look back at now and
think "GOSH!" We started talking as bmxers do, everything we talked about we seemed to agree on which somehow
astonished STP. Music, opinions and reasons behind riding all the same. This was the first time I visited Storm Skate park which ended up being mine and STP's second home on weekends (we couldn’t go in the week as we had school the next day ahahahahha)
After a year of riding (2002) Mark and STP came up with this idea of doing a zine, I didn’t really take much notice and just carried on riding until, the next time I went round to his house to listen to his new cd's, he shown me the front cover. Back then there was a few riders that were willing to contribute to his ideas such as Mark, Kyle, Jarrett, Jewis Lewis and Ian. We would usually meet up at Baths jump which was a basic fly out but back then it was our spot! (and as STP just reminded me, one time up there this hot girl pissed her jeans so bad, so much for elegance) well back to the point, so FLIPPEDBMXZINE was only really meant for us, pictures of what we’ve been up to like a blog on a website but more time and effort.
The first ever copies were given to Derby storm, The Bike Shop and Non-stop. Somewhere down the line STP got a really good response from FLIPPEDZINE people were just picking it up and reading about us and our scene as that’s what the contents really was. For a while STP did his own thing, didn’t really see much of him all the other riders got into cars and drugs, and as for Mark, he just did his own thing which resulted in FLIPPED being done alone by STP(issue#4)
From that point on I rarely saw STP but I would always see his zine around, people would tell me about it and by this point his music reviews were in full swing which is always good. As Storm was coming to an end STP wasn't, he was charged and ready to travel, when issue#6 was being handed out STP was on a roadtrip that changed his point of view, on not just riding but the zine.(This roadtrip was in 2005 and half way through this trip he got to ride the last day of storm and travel with good friends, if you ask him now what his favourite year is he would say by far 2005) He could write all the stories that every roadtrip holds, down in a journal and hand them to random strangers through FLIPPED(i can assure you that they are good stories). Now FLIPPED became a cause, a reason to be motivated through photos, mini trips and other things. When he got back from this trip he was eager to write and do more so before you knew it issue#7 was out.
Up until this point I never really rode in Nottingham, with Wakey and STP and all the other shredders. But in 2006 when money was tight and The MAKE started rolling, i hung around with STP again to go ride street. I quickly realised that FLIPPEDBMXZINE was still part of the scene even more so to when I used to contribute to it. It was in colour and covered what everyone was doing in Nottingham, trips that STP was on and his friends, im not sure whether he knew this but it makes a good impression on most people its raw, aggressive and straight to the point with a crude sense of humour(and when you think about it.... that’s Scott aint it?) After a hell of a trip with the undertone crew which STP covered in FLIPPED his desire to travel was still strong, which leads us to this year t-shirts are in the making with two t-shirts already made one of them of which I’m doing table air on the front… sorry this year, Australia. Issue#11 is by far my favourite issue, the trip to Australia was amazing and the spots to ride were incredible and to have solid evidence of the place is good, which I thank STP for, to actually be motivated to do that so not only I can remember it, but so that people who dont travel when possible can at least enjoy the photos and stories from our times and hopefully give them the motivation to travel with their friends and support their own local scene. From my side I just want to say thanks to STP for being the guy that will do it instead of talk it and know that BMX can take you places whilst meeting new people who become eventually good friends.
so im gonna shut up and ride now.... if you don’t know Scott, I am sure a friend of a friend will know or heard of him...
(if you want to know more or get a copy of flipped e-mail STP straight up)

Slim news.

We are stacked out here working on all sorts of new projects, so updates are a bit slim.

If you fancy getting yourself some Nikki Croft action then check this
out, boy gets everywhere. Rumor is he will be out here this winter and maybe Madrid.

More of your Mutinys keep coming. Here are Dan English's Lime Green Captain and Shawn Lee's Raw Sinister. We are really stoked on everyone that has ever brought a Mutiny part and your support means a lot.

Bowl and the shiny people.

Bowl is back on the shores of blighty but before he left he was hangin' out with shiny people. What goes on! check the picture to the right.

One of our myspace bros just air brushed his Sinister frame and it looks so good. This would be rad if we could do something like this for production but it just simply takes way too long.

Bence Farkas sent me a picture via e-mail of his new Sinister, looks sleek. Be sure to keep picture your bike checks coming in here.

Webstore should be done close to the end of this month, more soon.

In other news it is still raining in Austin......... Christ!
