Justin Takes Control.

So Justin sent me some pictures:

Up, over and Spin
Loop and Spin

And an update:

So Friday, the biggest snow storm of the year decided to happen, and it was no joke. Friday also happened to be when my friend Billy and I were heading up to Erie, PA to ride Tim Chivers barn with Square One dudes. What is supposed to be a 2 hr. drive turned out to be 3 1/2 hours of white knuckled death grip on the wheel. With no tread on my rear tires, I pretty much swam the whole way there. Thinking that we were pretty much in the clear, I was getting off the exit and spun out at like 50 mph, just barely stopping short of sliding off the highway down a hill. Finally got off the exit and went to turn down the next road, I spun out again with a semi coming full speed straight at me. Avoiding death for the second time in 5 minutes we finally made it and rode and had a blast. The next day after sitting around for hours watching the snow continue to accumulate, we decided to go ride Tim's again. Since its like back roads, there weren't any plows which sucked. Being the only car to travel down the road his house is on, it was pretty rough without 4 wheel drive. Go to pull in his driveway, and didn't even make it a 1/4 of the way up before getting stuck. Somehow freed my car and then said fuck it and drove back to Edinboro to get beer and party because there was no way to do anything else. I guess the point of the story is that even though it was a treacherous journey that could have ended like the 30 other people that were in a ditch covered in snow, It was totally worth it just to ride and hang out with friends that just about having fun, and not training the foam pits for metro jam - Justin.

Okay I need to go enjoy SXSW. New Clothing preview up tomorrow.

Niki's new Job.

Niki recently moved down to Hastings to start a new life for himself. Here are some photos;

No Foot Can
A Turndown

and his story;
So it was Saturday (16th) of February when I got a call off Bas keep asking me when I was going to come down to Brighton to film for this Seventies 'Brighton ain't ready' DVD, as money for me is tight I was not very sure what to do, a train to Brighton would cost £50-£70 and I had £17 to my name. Somehow Mad Jon was heading to Manchester which happens to be a £17 train journey, my intentions of this trip was to leave for Brighton film for a week and come home back to Nottingham.
Monday 18th, I was on the train to meet Mad Jon with a bag, full with 5 t-shirts, one pair of jeans and a hoody, on the train it did cross my mind, how am I gonna get back with no money?' but Jon had the best answer.......'just wing it' which is pretty much what i did, it seems crazy that it cost me less to go from Nott's to Manchester to Brighton.
6 hours later I arrived at the house and was greeted by Edd Allen, Bas Keep, and one crazy Aussie, Kym Grosser. The next day the sun was shining so the cameras came out and shit started to get done, Kym was quite beat from the riding hes been doing for the last 2 weeks, I was shown quite a few spots and had a ride and at the end of day I decided to ride into a metal quarter and wrecked my wrist, which pretty much put me off my bike for a week so at this point, me coming down to film went down the drain. No money and no bike was pretty much what I had to settle for 3 days as I couldn't ride I decided to head to the seventies warehouse to see Stu, a few business meetings later he offered me a job in the warehouse, (when I was 15 I always dreamed of working down here and riding my bike with rad people and now by chance it happened) i took the offer without hesitation didn't think about where I'm going to live, just winged it.
so that leaves me living in Brighton working in the seventies warehouse hanging with cool people and pretty much starting from scratch which is what i needed. cheers Stu!
oh and happy birthday 23rd Iain fuller, hahaha.
Niki Croft.
