So thanks to Seventies, I just got a goody bag including the Backyard boxset, B.A.R and Up In Smoke. Also in there was a copy of the Flying Medallions CD, We Love Everybody and Every things great. This CD reminds me of all the older Backyard video's; Unlock Your BMX and The Last Resort spring to mind. Go pick up the boxset to learn some roots and listen to Jon Dye's epic commentry on The Last Resort.
A few bro's have trailers up for their new videos. Empire featuring Ryan, this is going to be epic when it drops. Congrats to Empire and Parrick on this visual splendor. Liquor bikes. This one has been in the works for a while and it going feature a full part with our bro rider Andy Martinez.
So I like to think we do a pretty good job of keeping this blog fresh, but this week updates might be a little on the slow side. Roey and Ryan are both in town clockin' clips and it's SXSW so it's all a little hectic.
We got some awesome content coming so stay tuned...........
Things change, it's part of life. As Bob Dylan wrote once "The Times They Are A-Changin'" and as from today things have changed at Mutiny. Morgan and us have gone our separate ways. The strong friendship remains and we wish Morgan all the best. There is no drama, no hate, we have just reached that point where we are different places professionally. -Gaz & Joe-
I've been on the team and a part of Mutiny Bikes since 2001. A lot of things have changed over the years, i.e., different owners and an entirely different team. I honestly feel blessed to have been a part of it for so long. Over the past year or so, Mutiny and myself have been drifting apart. We aren't on the same page that we used to be and we came to the conclusion that I just don't fit into the Mutiny family like I used to. Although we're still great friends, we decided that it would be better for us to part ways rather than spin our wheels in different directions. We had a good run of eight years and it's been lots of fun! That being said, I'd like to thank Mutiny for all support and help they've given me over the years. I'm very grateful and truly do appreciate everything they've done for me. Onward to the next chapter."-Morgan Wade-
I was just watching our 2008 Web video which is almost a year old and it reminded me how nuts this 3 was: Infact the whole dam thing is pretty insane. Can a web video be a classic?
Randy has made it down to Austin the last few weekends to stack them clips but keeps hurting his hands. He also just moved into his own place, which he and his cat Smokey are stoked on.Photo: Walter Pieringer
Josh is enjoying being back on his stead after his collarbone break. We just finished up the decals for his new frame, The Lucky Strike.
Brandon is busy with school and not digging the snow up WI. He recently built up a new bike, a Cosmotron. Which he is loving the short back end! Roey was just in London starting work on something for Ride UK and to hang out with George Marshall and Niki. Roey lands in Austin on Saturday and we can't wait. Ryan is spending his time between Denton and Austin. He is looking forward to SXSW and clocking some footy over spring break.Photo: Travis Kincaid
Andy went down at the weekend and needs to spend some time resting, luckily it's going to rain in Austin for the next few days so he'll be forced to sit still.Photo: James Stevens
John Povah and the people over at Etnies are awesome. As well as supporting Morgan, Ryan, Justin, Randy and Josh. I just came up on a set of Blue Taylors! Thanks dudes! Ryan has a little update over on the Etnies site so go check it out.

All of a sudden I felt my body moving inside.......
A few weeks ago I was saw Broken Social Scene play here in Austin. Charles Spearin of the band has a project he has been working on called The Happiness Project. They played the song above and I was blown away by it. You can find more info here including a short about it.
Mr. Taylor, magician on a bike, Randy always comes up with some special where ever you take him. Taking the flair to the streets or a solid Nozza for length, the Don brings it. Also quite partial to a cup of good Coffee. pic- downtown fort worth by Travis Kincaid
Here's his Austin 5's: 1. Ability to go outside at any hour into a usually actIve and nice environment. 2. Always people to hang with when people aren't too lazy. 3. Vclub team is in Austin!! 4. i like watching the guys kill it at ninth st. trails. 5. Green park. That's my favorite park no doubt.
George is killing it right now, he has had a bunch of stuff in the mags. Has been dropping clips left right and center for some upcoming projects. All while holding down it down at school. Here's his Austin 5's: 1. Friends and people that live there 2. Mexican food (taco shacks) 3. Endless spots 4. Empire/Whole foods location combo 5. Nothing is more than 15 minutes away, or even a bike ride
